Living in a box on the turnpike is better

This place is a scam. I lived there for 1.5 years, and I've heard the most pathetic excuses ever for not fixing things.
They'll tell you that even though the ribs of the radiators are in horrible shape and rusting, they can't replace them because of their budget.
Dents in the doors are "not their fault" and "would push maintenance over budget" to fix.
If you ask me, they pocket security deposits of bad renters, but don't repair anything.
Management is rude, intrusive, and playing you for a fool. I have been insulted by their management in unbelievable ways.
The manager of this place is the nastiest person I have encountered in my life. They're all nice when you look at the place, and the model apartment is nice, but LORD help you when you move in.
The neighborhood is run down, full of drug trafficing, unsupervised children playing ball in the parking lot hitting YOUR car then yelling F*CK YOU *SSHOLE.
I have seen trash moving in right before I left in 2002 that was beyond words, people that paid 1 year rent in advance... IN CASH. HELLOOOO!!!!!!
Sherwood Crossing will swear they screen people. Reality is, they do. They screen for money; if it's there, you can move in.
If you're single with a gun and an attitude, move in. Otherwise, stay away.
I'd also not be surprised if the lately positive reviews were fakes. They are crooks, they do anything to get you. I'm not saying they are, but it wouldn't surprise me, that's how bad they are.
I'd rather live in a box right on the turnpike.
