Changes - & not for the better

Wow how times have changed at Sherwood Crosssing. I'm not sure if it depends so much on our management staff or are they getting the word from higher up.

As far as the changes I have noticed since I've lived here for ten years is (1) - the constant increase in the rent every year (2) now residents are required to pay $150 for use of the pool and maybe the exercise facilities not sure if that's included in the fee. Mind you, this was something that was an optional ammenity. I don't think it's fair to make someone pay for something 'just in case' they 'might' use it. Also the exercise facility is only a few machines - so that keeps people from using it - not knowing if it will be crowded because it will take about 4 people in there to create a crowd (3) now we have to pay for heat, trash, and a bunch of other stuff that I can't remember right now - which use to be included in the rent. If that's the way it has to be just make sure you notify the tenants in enough time so they make other arrangements - unless the point is not to give the tenants enough time to go elsewhere without breaking the terms of their lease.

Overall, I think it would be better business to appreciate those who have made Sherwood Crossing their home instead of looking for ways to nickle and dime us every time they get. What I don't think they realize is most of us would like to 'own' a home at some point in time - but for whatever reason we may need more time. What Sherwood Crossing has done is to force everyone to make that move whether it be to a home or a place to stay in the interim, a little sooner than we would have like. I know that's what happened to me. Thanks Sherwood Crossing - by you charging outrageous fees and taking away the ammenities we have come to appreciate, I'm sure you will see many UHAUL trucks over the next year. But, you have no one to blame but yourselves.
