From: dbboyd Date posted: 12/28/2006 Years at this apartment: 1993 - 2005   I lived here for 11 years! It is so convenient. I had easy access to 95, the Boulevard and the Turnpike. You had total control of your heat/AC and both worked perfectly. I loved my spacious, sunny apartment with bright, clean kitchens all done in white and new appliances. Make all your maintenance requests in writing and you will have no problem getting things fixed quickly. For the most part, I had good neighbors, not overly friendly, but nice. Met lots of cat folks when I'd go out to feed the strays at the dumpster or workout at the gym. They keep the grounds up beautifully and I loved the little creek and wooded area. They go in rent each year, not an uneasonable amount. I remember when I was unemployed and wrote them a letter about my situation, they didn't even raise my rent that year. If you are a good tenent, responsible, nice, don't cause any trouble, they take good care of you. I felt very safe and happy here...I actually miss it very much. We only had ONE criminal incident that I remember....a young adult male was living with someone temporarily in the apartments and was shot during the day, inside the apartment apparently in some drug related deal. There was a one year period, where we had a little more rif-raf than usual, but the new management that came in, weeded them out and things went back to normal. The pool was always held captive by the loud kids, so it was hard for an adult to have a relaxing swim. They should have had "adult only" hour. Since everything is electric, including heat, you end up with a huge electric bill each month. They never responded to my requests to replace my ratty old carpet or repaint for me and in the end, that is why I left. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
