We have been here almost three months. I appreciated the comments that previous posters made, and I want to follow up with some of my own experiences.

Overall, the building is fantastic. Being new to Philadelphia, the location is perfect. We have everything we need in walking distance, which is a tremendous bonus for quality of life.

Our apartment is one of the --02 layouts, and I have found it very functional. We have great light; the separate dining area can be used as an additional work space in case of emergency; the in-room washer/dryer is very convenient; there is a good amount of closet and cabinet space. It took a bit, though, to decide how to work with the angles of some of the rooms and some "dead" spaces. The only true misstep I see in the apartment is the size of the showers, which is tight, even for one. The decor, as to be expected, is typical of the highrise apartment building genre -- plain.

The staff is absolutely phenomenal. The guys at the door and the maintenance staff have been tremendous, giving neighborhood advice and responding to problems in the apartment immediately.

Being new, I cannot comment in much detail about building community. The diversity -- in age, nationality, and interest -- is great. There are young families, retirees, and everything in between. It is nice to hear the foreign languages and to hear the cycling, pet, and baby talk in the elevators. Everyone I have met is open and friendly.

Utilities. The cost of utilities in winter is certainly high. I spoke to the leasing agent about this prior to moving in and he helpfully provided me a copy of the bills for my apartment during the prior 12 months.

Parking. The parking garage is narrow and not the easiest to navigate. With our sedan, there is sufficient space, but I worry about those SUV drivers.

The common spaces are well maintained. The gym and pool are pretty consistently used, but are not too crowded. I really appreciate our individual storage space on the floor. The entryways, hallways, and trash room are always clean.

All in all -- highly recommended!
