My whole experience with the Sterling has been disappointing. On the day that our lease started we took delivery of a very dirty apartment. I complained and they said they sent a crew to clean the unit, but it still took us a day to get the place into livable condition. The initial punch list that I submitted had items that never got fixed. The building has an online form to report maintenance issues, but the issues are sent to the building manager (John Ditko) who admittedly doesn't check his email all the time. Maintenance is not available all the time and it often takes a couple reports to get an issue resolved. The security staff... even the new staff enjoys socializing with each other and its often uncomfortable walking through the lobby as they can get rowdy. Getting a package is a nightmare as they are very unorganized and sometimes forget to put a package slip in your mailbox. The elevators in the building are often broken. During our stay here they replaced all the windows in the building. The construction crew left our apartment very dirty - stains on the carpet, broken glass everywhere, and one day they even left our front door wide open. Overall - this building is a disgrace!!! I don't recommend it! STAY AWAY!!!!!

I completely agree. 1. When the windows were repaired in my building they left shattered glass EVERYWHERE in my apartment. I cut my finger open when trying to clean it all up. I was very upset with how they handled the situation. Also - the workers entered my apartment multiple times with me asleep in my bed. They actually got me out of bed and once out of the shower - with them in my apartment - and I'm a single young woman!! 2- the "new" staff has forgotten to tell me I've had packages. I have to track them from UPS and when they get delivered I have to take my printed delivery slip to them to show them they signed for and have my package. Very organized and untrustworthy with things. 3) The staff does not watch who comes and goes - the pool is no open and there are tons of teenagers who don't belong in the building up there frequently and the lifeguard has to get them out. How do they get there? They walk right past the security guards who don't stop kids in beachwear going up the building. IDIOTS
