I dont agree with some of the reviews that indicate that maintenance or managment is bad. I've had a particularly reasonable time during my year at this apartment --though it does have its problems.(as im sure all apartments do). I think the location is wonderful, however the noise from all the traffic on the roads is sometimes unbearable. I live on the top floor of the apartment and i can still hear all the little noises on the streets below. The fact that I can hear my neighbors conversations through the walls is unwarranted. Good things about the apartment-- GREAT and WONDERFUL maintenance, GREAT WELCOMING hallways, clean upkeep of apartment, pool, and the responsiveness of some of the management staff. Shortcomings are:
1. security staff w/c has recently changed is unwelcoming and unprofessional at times. it feels like you are asking them to do you a favor, when it really is their job to watch for packages and control traffic.
2. my rent increased substantially this year- doesnt seem to justify the facilities
3. i pay too much for utiliites
4. the lack of a thermostat to control temperature is uncomfortable at times
5. price of apartments is unjustified considering they are quite old.
