HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT- LIARS and THIEVES From: jhoffman1970@comcast.net Date posted: 8/1/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   I have been living at the Sterling for only a year. In that time, my kitchen has flooded, (twice) both times leaving the floor smelling like sour feet and dirty- had to purchase space heaters in the winter, and in the summer months felt ILL due to the SMELL coming from the VERY OLD air conditioning units which FAIL to keep the apt. cool. When the outside shell was removed, BLACK MOLD was revealed in ALL of the units. The weekend before the 4th, my unit was broken into and ALL of my jewelry was stolen. The police were at my house until 2am and after investigation, determained it was an INSIDE job. When confronted, the ONLY comment the property manager had was that MY KEY WAS NOT SIGNED OUT that day. HE IS HORRIBLE- I am LEAVING this month and can not wait to go. I moved to that building because it was a doorman building and I thought it was secure. This has been a NIGHTMARE.
