i'M BEING EVICTED 1/31/09. In the decade, I've lived here, they've failed to provide even basic construction maintenance, but they managed to raise the rent.

You are right. The maintenance here is bad. I am a resident too and I can't understand why they can't fix basic problems like the lack of hot water within 24 hours.
