KEEP LOOKING... BEWARE OF HOTWIRE!!! From: craigmac Date posted: 5/19/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   It may seem like a good deal with a cheap cable and internet service, utilities included, and activities... but you get what you pay for. They turn they A/C and heat on only on their scheduled dates. You have no control over this. So if it gets hot or cold early in the season... you're in trouble. But most importantly, beware that you will be stuck with the worst cable, phone, internet company known to man... HOTWIRE COMMUNICATIONS Ltd. You will be stuck with them cause they own the lines so no other provider for any of the above can provide you with service. However, you can get a satallite dish, but most likely you won't be facing in the right direction or a tree will be in your way. NO ROOF INSTALLATIONS ALLOWED. Anyway, HOTWIRE SUCKS!!! Your cable will be terrible and not work half the time. You'll have very limited channels and never be able to get Pay Per View or any other Pay Channel except HBO. If you have an HD TV, then you just wasted your money. Your internet won't work most of the time and when it does, it will be anything but high-speed. They will send morons out to fix your service which will only be fixed for 2 hours. Oh yeah... did i mention that they're not open on the weekends. That's like Comcast or Verizon being closed. So typically my services would stop working on a Friday. Then there would be no way for me to even contact them until Monday. They also only provide you with their own satallite TV which often gets images stuck on the screen. - If you don't like the TV or internet, care about parking, or care about the temperature in your apartment 2 months out of the year... then live here. The activities can be cool.
