I'm presently a tenant at courtyard apt.riverview and I hate it there. I'm trying to get information an how to transfer to another site as we speak. I don't feel safe there, I fear for my twelve year old daughter. The drug activity there is out of hand. The grounds are a mess, I have mice running through the walls and ceiling. The management department knows about the problems with drugs and rodents, but I don't see them doing anything about it. I haven't had a renewed lease sense 2001 or 2002, eventhough I have been recertified by management, they never complete the recertification process for any tenants tht I know of, so my rent has not been determined.

I've been a resident at the courtyard apt for 1yr and some months. This is a terrible place to live at. let's see were do i start. We have bad mice problems and everytime the exterminator comes out to our homes and residents show them where the problem is they say we are to take that up with management. We try to talk to management about the problems they take months to handle the problem. The trash bins out her our the most naste and unsafe coniditions to be in because when the week comes, the trash piles up and looks naste. Some people have to put trash out near thebins because they can not put them in the full trash or the have to keep them inside their homes until the unload the bins. Good thing I live on a quiet block becauase every were else it's noisey and loud. Cops come around the apt. alot but crime still go on the minute that they leave. The office worker are very unprofessional, each time you go there to ask them a question the become very unprofessional with people all over a question. One of the workers that need to be fired is Sonya Brown because she has a nasty dispositon on her. The other one Deshaw who takes a very long time to process your recertification. When we fill like we are have a serious problem and need to tslk to the manager, they say that we cannot speak with her because she is busy. But everyone out her knows that she is to busy putting her family members in these apt instead of putting people in her that really needs to be out her. We i ask for their boss in charge of the property, they never give us the informationto them so we can complain. They residents that have 3 or more children living in the top apt and makes lots and lots of noise, that the police are callled and they tell them to take the problem up with management. The resident's try to do so and the management say that the have to take it up with police. The resident's also requested if the could move to another unit the tell them that they need to make 28,000 or more to move. They also make people pay rent for a home and they don't move in until six months later. Everytime the people go around their and ask them "will what is going on with my place theeir excuse is we are still fixing it up. I think that it is not fair that resident's that live on the ouside of the parking lot cannot park in the lot when they have no parking out on the streets. One day the exterminator and mantience came around to exterminated, one of the guys used my bathroom without permission to do so because I was not home and it was very noticeable that one of them used my bathroom. one time they I had given them some of my paystubs because there was decrease in my hours they took a very long time to do my renewal and I almost got evicted for here when I turned in my stubs and was given them what I can afford. But remember I turn everthing in months ago and keep coming up to the office to do the papper work and they keep telling me that Sonya Brown was unable to do my papper work at the time. It got to the point where the front desk clerk got tried of seeing me in the office she ask for another worker to help me when they could have done that all along. I wish that I could move out from these apt.
