Don't judge a book by it's cover

Cosmetically the apartments look fantastic. Don't let this fool you; that is only the surface. I have lived there for two years and will eventually move out this summer due to lease constraints. For $1675 the price is alright for center city living. However, the noise is absolutely unbearable. My boyfriend and I wear earplugs at night because we can hear footsteps and yelling above us and the entirety of NPR and vacuum cleaners below us. We can hear a conversation above, below, and besides us. The greyhound bus station is right behind the building, the music venue The Trocadero is right across the street from the building so you can hear the music and fans yelling at 1130 pm during the week, and the fire station is 1/2 block down 10th street which sirens at least 8 times a day/night. It is so disruptive it makes living there very frustrating. If you have a car plan to spend almost $200 to park at the nearest garage 1/2 block away. There is hardly any parking near the building as well. There is no carpeting and the huge windows can do great damage to a PECO bill. If you are looking for a great place that is both internally and externally fitting this is not the place for you.
