I lived in two different apartments in the same complex run by UCH. The first was okay; I moved simply because my roommate and I parted ways and I needed a smaller place. The second apartment was a nightmare. The heat was erratic; mice made my extremely clean kitchen their home, to the point that I had to scrub down the counters with antibacterial spray every other day to get rid of the droppings. At the very end of my time there, the apartment next to mine got bedbugs. The staff did very little to help me prevent their spread, only spraying preventatively after I insisted they do so.
The administrative staff at the main office is okay; they try their best to be helpful. The on-site staff are horrible. They generally seem stoned and don't respond to maintenance requests. On top of that they are rude. All this for inflated rent, due to proximity to various college campuses.
