Not worth the Money!!

These are very nice apartments with horrible service as a building. Several times the heat and/or electiricty and water has been off during the winter. Out of the 4 elevators, 2 or more are often either not working or the lights are completely out inside of them, beer bottles, cans, urine or vomit can be found inside of them on the weekends. A beer bottle sat in the building stairwell for nearly a week until it was crushed and the glass shards went everywhere. The fire alarm system is completely erratic. It goes off multiple times EVERY day, yet they are all false alarms, malfunctions of the alarm system. When the alarm actually goes off correctly and fire trucks arrive, you see only 20 people in the lobby. It would be really sad if there were a real fire in the building, because we are so used to hearing the alarm go off everyday. The security is very inconsistent as well. Sometimes the security guards are sleeping at the frotnt desk and then other times the security guards require two forms of ID to enter...''' One time my guest was held up at the front desk for over 15 minutes because she did not have my phone number with her to call up, the security gaurd did not have our phone number, but would not let her by. Finally another buidling resident knocked on my door to notify me that a guest was trying to get into the building. The truly worst thing, at least for those on the front side of the building is the roof of the Firestone garage right in front of university Crossings on Market St. Every weekend residents of the building throw countless beer bottles, cigarettes, trash, and large items such as chairs, carts, a fire extinguisher and even a bookcase from the buidling ont the roof of Firestone. It is an ugly sight, not to mention the frequent sound of breaking glass. This building has not met my expectations for the price, and does not maintain good commnication with its residents. There is an exercise room which is a bonus, the laundry and trash rooms are generally clean, and the apartments themselves are very spacious with large windows, however the abovementioned grievances are too large to be overlooked.
