This is the worst place I have ever lived. It's extremely expensive, you can hear parties from 2 floors away, the elevators are latrines (I've taken to always using the stairs, even though I live on the seventh floor), security swipe cards don't work/aren't enforced - the atmosphere is like that of a giant out of control dorm.
The folks next to me have parties that go until 5 am. The bass is loud enough to rattle the dishes in my sink.
There are no windows in the bedrooms. Instead, you have small panes of glass running the length of the short side of each bedroom. Mine is adjacent to the kitchen, so the kitchen lights shine in. The bathrooms and bedrooms never see sunlight or have fresh air. Its like living in a submarine. I wake up and I can't tell if its night or day.
Fire alarms go off constantly. I was outside at 3:30 am in the rain, sleeping on the sidewalk, waiting for the firetrucks to arrive.
People like to throw things off the roof. It's very easy to get up there. A cinder block was tossed off the roof. It landed on a car parked outside and smashed its roof down to the ground.
Two weeks ago, someone set fire to a wooden desk and pitched it off the roof or balcony. It crashed through the roof of the Firestone building and set that on fire. There's a $2500 reward for information about the culprit.
Do yourself a favor and avoid living here.
