Just Plain Nasty

The building looks great in the the photos, but your first clues that it sucks should be the lax security and the elevators that smell like urine and vomit. That's when the carpet and walls aren't actually covered in urine, vomit and spit. To add to matters Drexel just shifted some of their classes to the first floor of the building, so be prepared for the horde of students before and after each class. During the month, you can expect several random fire alarms. You're gonna love the drunken party goers every Friday and Saturday. They always break things in the halls, smash bottles against the walls, punch holes in the walls, and throw up on the carpet and walls in the hallway. After keeping you awake with the blaring music through the thin walls, they'll end the night with an extremely irritating fire alarm. I moved in here when the building was just renovated and it was pretty nice. The bathroom was unfinished and it took them two months to sort of fix it. The floors in the building are uneven and have these very noticeanle lumps under the carpet. The tiles in the bathroom are just as uneven as the rest of the floor, but they crak because of it. Be prepared for some huge water and electric bills, especially in the summer. The only good things left are the nice view and the huge bathrooms. This place could never be considered a luxury apartment now. It's just foul, mostly because of the outright nasty residents.
