I just sat here and read people tear apart this place. I have been here for 11 months and let me tell you what i know. I am a college student at drexel and so are 99% of the people that live here. Does anyone remember the dorm freshman year' I mean come on, public bathrooms, throwup on all the toilets, wearing sandles in the shower, sleeping 2 feet away from another guy or girl who's with another guy or girl'' Anyone' THATS COLLEGE! When you live in a place like UC with 800 other students, you can expect to have SOME of that crap happen. If you can't take it, then go live at home or find a place near rittenhouse square and talk to me about price. Since the new security the place has been great. I live here with 3 other dudes and pay 400 bucks a month for a huge apartment. We've never had a electric bill over 150 bucks, and water never over 40. And yes, we keep the ac at 74, keep lights on, and use the dishwasher. Maintenance is on point, the office helps you out, and it takes me 5 seconds to walk to class. The only way you can hear anything through the walls is if your neighbors are yelling AT the wall. That happens about once for every 32742 times i hear a wailing fire truck on market st... complain about that instead. Oh yea, and since the new security the fire alarm has gone off twice... and one of those times there WAS a fire in the basement, bet you didnt know that. Honestly, if you want to go live in a dirty, rat infested, asbestos and mildew filled philly house, then go ahead, save a few dollars. With those few bucks you can pay for bars on the windows and the gas bill to run heat in the winter. If you couldnt tell, i DO recommend this place because its cheaper then the dorms, clean, friendly, and college student filled... I didnt come to live here with mom and dad next door with their 2 kids and dog, i came here to have a good time and go to school like a real college student.

Haha, I love you 'fedexman12'...i agree, i haven't read all of the negative reviews, but i agree with what you have said and trust your opinion considering i know you and that i live here and would def. complain about the firetruck noise before any hallway/neighbor noise. good job buddy ~Lauren S.

idiot the problem is that philly management does not tell interested residents that it is full of college students. because i am in grad school i have obviously been in undergrad and have experienced college life and know how filty and dirty it can be. im glad you like to live sh*tty though thats cool. the real problem is this, u.crossing should be advertised as a dorm, not a apartment building but i feel when you get older you will understand. ahaaa grow up children

University Crossings is on 32nd and Market. Of course it would be full of Drexel students. Anyone who has to be told this obviously shouldn't be renting an apartment anyway.
