I currently live in an awesome apt. What other apt building do you know of that lets you see west, south, center city, and northeast philly right from your living room. My apt is spacious and i hardly ever have a problem with noise. Philadelphia Management sucked but they bit the big one. College Park is up and running and let me tell you, I LOVE THEM! The first day they came in to take over, the property manager himself came up to my apt to close the massive weighted windows. They want to hear about what we want and keep us safe. I will agree that security can be lax but come on, what security company do you know of that actually knows what they are doing. Lock your doors, don't bring a lot of expensive belongings, this is Philadelphia, crime happens. How about the kids last yr who were walking over by off campus housing and were beaten with 2 by 4s. Please, i can deal with a little music over being beaten death on my way back from sev. They now have individual leases, this way when your roomy decides not to pay rent, as mine did, you aren't screwed. College Park is used to dealing with college kids, money problems and all. They have fixed the elevators, no more carpet. No one is allowed on the balconies, but if you're sneaky you can figure out how to get out there. You are safe from bullets, bars, crackheads, most robbers, and shady next door neighbors. I can wake up and look at my classroom right through my window. Bottom line, I like the place, i like my room, i like my roommates, i'm gonna stay.
