Overpriced but best near campus

I have lived here over a year now. So many problems when I first moved in, but I believe that was because of a certain manager who has since left. I moved into my apartment first by subleasing and then stayed there when my own lease began. My apartment was not cleaned, tons of thumbtack holes in walls, pain chipping, the couch was torn, the place smelled like smoke, and they wouldnt give us four chairs for our kitchen set (in a four person apt). If you plan on subleasing make sure they clean the apartment when the previous lease is up and yours begins. Things, however, have gotten much better with the new managers.
Maintenance issues do take a while to resolve if they arent extremely important such as a garbage disposal or dishwasher breaking.
Also while you sign a lease for one bedroom out of the apartment, it is up to you and your roommates to split the utlity bills. The leasing office isnt very good at helping when problems arise due to people moving out early without finding someone to sublease.
However despite these problems the apartment is very spacious compared to the other apartment complexes on Temple's campus. I share an apartment with three other girls and while I pay enough on my one bedroom alone to have a studio apartment in center city I do enjoy being so close to classes and feeling safe.
The apartment complex has a gym, computer room, tanning beds, game room, and tv room. The amenities are nice, but I dont get a chance to use them much.
I live in the front building which I highly reccomend because 1) I dont have to look out my window at the ghetto 2) I can see my car parked on the street outside and 3) I can see the buildings where I have classes. I also reccomend the larger or the one bedroom apartments with the bathroom attached. You only pay a bit more and get a ton more space. Also the bathrooms that arent attached dont lock from the outside so anyone can walk in and use them.
Theres lots of space in the apartment. A nice kitchen with tons of appliances and cabinet space and a full fridge. And my bedroom is much larger than I could ever need. Also the closet space is good too. While it is overprices and problems do arise I have loved living there. The rent is expensive, especially because it does not include utilities, but I believe it is the best place on campus to live.
