I recently moved from Upsal Garden Apartments to Center City mainly due to the traffic situation. My apartment was spacious, the heat always worked, and I never had a negative experience with Cheryl. In my opinion, the people who experience Cheryl's bad side are those who did not follow the rules of the complex. It may sound simplistic; however, those rules were put in place for a reason. She was very good at ensuring that all pets were quiet and that children did not become a nuisance.

The only negative I experienced was the commute to Center City from Mt. Airy. Even though it is quoted that UG is 15 minutes from Center City, in reality, that is 15 minutes in the middle of the night. I rarely was able to commute to Center City in less than 40 minutes going to work and an hour getting home. I finally had had enough.

I would recommend this complex in a minute to anyone who can understand that the building is over 80 years old and has it quirks and that Cheryl runs the place with an iron fist. As I stated, you play by her runs and she treats you like gold, if not, you have hell to pay.
