I've been here for four years and plan on staying for longer. As far as I can tell, the only people who've had a problem with Cheryl have been the ones going in with attitude. Yes, she is short on the phone. Yes, she cuts you off when you're talking. Deal with it -- the woman does a fantastic job of managing the building and making sure problems are addressed.
The apartments here are spacious, have hardwood flooring and are well-lit. They're also old as hell, so you'll have to put up with about three different power tracts through the apartment and will have to learn on what circuits you can put what appliances and so forth. Maintenance is pretty good; we're on the top floor of one building with a flat roof, which unfortunately means that every year they have to send someone up to patch the plaster where moisture has soaked through. Other than that, we've had no complaints.

I have lived here for three years, and my bathroom ceiling collapsed two weeks ago. My kitchen wall started buckling two summer sago. Neither has been addressed, and I delivered a letter with photographs asking for action. My bathroom now is nearly unusable; imagine being dripped on from the toilet upstairs while you sit on the toilet. The lack of response over the course of one year and a half boggles my little mind. |
