I completely regret moving here. I haven't seen any mice, but I've had some small roaches in my kitchen cabinets. They come from the giant hole in the wall underneath the sink. This is just an example of the poor construction of the apartments. One day my doorknob fell right off the entry door.
The water in the shower is terrible; it's either scalding hot or ice cold, and changes from either of these two extremes suddenly. Discomforting and miserable.
The walls are thin, and I can hear my neighbors all the time. Loud and obnoxious. The neighbors above me walk around so hard that my windows rattle.
One of the tenants told me that she's been trying to contact maintenance to fix her stove; it had been unoperational for a month, and they still hadn't fixed it. I'm not sure why she is still sticking around.
I could keep going, but overall this place has a very "slum" feel to it. You can notice it right away, but you may discredit it thinking you'll get used to it. You won't. You'll only feel worse. This place is depressingly horrible. I'd rather live in a box.
