I lived at the Warehouse from 7/06-7/07 (left when I moved to CA) and enjoyed my time there. As one of the posters mentioned the best thing about this place is Larry the doorman; probably one of the friendliest people I interacted with on a daily basis.
The pros: - Pretty large apartments. - High ceilings (2nd and 3rd floor have 14 ft ceilings). - New building, so everything is pretty clean and new. - Good construction/windows means that your utilities are low. - Good location. Extremely close to Market East station, as well as lots of restaurants in Chinatown. - Excellent security - Parking lot in front of the building, but you have to (usually) get through a waiting list and then pay $165/mo. - Plenty of laundry facilities.
The cons: - There are a lot of Temple students that live here. They usually pack in 4 to a room so they can afford the rent (this would have been too expensive when I was a student), but college students as a rule are on a different schedule than professionals, and there were several nights that I was aggravated by the late-night noise. - The walls aren't paper thin, but they're thin. I could hear my college neighbors when they played video games/movies with the bass turned up. - I lived on the 3rd floor, which has a large game room with pool tables. When drunken residents decide to start bowling with the pool balls, this is not the floor to live on. - The "view" I had was of another warehouse building directly across the street. As such there wasn't any direct sunlight into my apartment, which was somewhat depressing. - Since the bedroom had no windows, there is a large section of the wall that is "cut out" to let light in from the living room. Since I lived by myself this wasn't a problem, but if you have more than one person you basically have nowhere in the apartment that you can go for privacy.
Overall this apartment was great and impressed my friends. It was definitely the best value that I found ($1035/1br) and I looked at *a lot* of apartments in Center City.
