If you want convenience to Center City or anywhere downtown, Wayne Manor is in a good location. The R8 train station is next to the building. The 53 bus stop is in front of the building and the H bus is a block up the street. The apartment size is great. You have an eat-in kitchen, spacious living room and bedroom. The bathroom is a typical apartment size. The only negative I have in living in my apartment since Dec. 2003 is the laundry facility and the security. When the washers are working, you have to go at the right time of day to get a machine. There are four washers and four dryers for three buildings. In regards to security, I myself have not been a victim but there have been a number of reported breaks-ins in two of the buildings. My best guess is that they are inside jobs. However, I have noticed a change in the type of residents since new management took over two years ago. But you can't be the price at Wayne Manor Apts.(all utilities are included in the rent).
