They will never, ever repair a thing. When we first moved in, they were about to replace the roofs throughout the complex, so when we called to complain that a heavy rainstorm had leaked and damaged our ceiling, they asked us to wait until they replaced the roof to repair the ceiling plaster. Never happened. When our shutter blew away after another storm, we called the next day to let the front office know that we were missing a shutter. We moved out of the house with the house STILL missing a shutter we had called about months before. Our deck was in disrepair from the day we moved in, and we were, in fact, told by the maintenance worker to wear shoes outside and to not bother calling in complaints about the deck, because they weren't going to fix them. These weren't isolated incidents- we would often fix things in the unit ourselves after calls to the front office had gone ignored.
In the end, after yet ANOTHER rent increase and too many years of ridiculously high electricity bills, we grew tired of having our maintenance requests ignored, and moved out.
Save your money and your frustration. Don't move here.

Highly agreed. If you value your money, sanity, etc., don't move anywhere NEAR Eland Downe.
--Management is beyond horrible. I'm surprised we weren't presented with a fee just for CONSIDERING moving out; we were slapped with fees despite giving a written notice of our departure well ahead of time.
--They will TELL you that they have put your roommate on the lease, but will not actually do so.
--Maintenance is atrocious:
*Grass is cut once per season, it seems.
*Took FIVE calls to repair our dishwasher.
*Took TWO calls to repair a doorknob; we actually had to leave our door unlocked overnight.
--Get this: Eland Downe also owns the shopping center on the opposite side of Route 113. In this shopping center is a laundromat that, needless to say, charges you to do wash. The townhouse property HAD a laundry room on its premises, but it has been locked for well over a year. Promises to turn it into a gym of some sort have never been fulfilled. So you have several unused washers and dryers sitting dormant while the property owners get rich across the street.
--The decks are falling apart. More than once I heard creaking just when STANDING on the deck.
Once again, move nowhere NEAR Eland Downe.
