MANICURED LAWNS, PROFESSIONAL CARING MANAGEMENT, LUXURY AMENITIES....Eland Downe. We moved to here after searching extensively for a place to accomodate caring for an ill family member and raising 2 girls in a SAFE community. WE FOUND IT! Our Eland Downe townhome was and is the best value for the price. Do the research. There's no other that will give the square footage and amenities that are offered at the price especially in this economy. Now the girls are in college, we've cared for many family members and still maintain a high level of respect and admiration for the management and staff of this establishment. Something seems to always be going on to enhance the asthstetics and conveniences of living here. The playground has been updated, decks being rebuilt with the latest low maintenance materials, pool house refurnished and the laundry is now a full access weight and exercise room, not to mention the big flat screen TV. Just to mention the continued attempt to make our stay as tenants more comfortable. THIS ECONOMY DICTATES THAT MORE COMPANIES SHOULD STRIVE TO MATCH THE STANDARDS SET BY THE MANAGEMENT AT ELAND DOWNE. When we read negative news about this place, we can't help but wonder if they're writing about the same place or staff. Really, if your looking for a community where you'll find it a pleasure to live, this is the place.

despite the recent upgrades made there, which i agree are beautiful, the management is somewhat suspect, especially when 2 positive reviews suddenly appear within 2 weeks of each other. the maintenance staff was never under scrutiny, they perform thier job well, the office staff tho has been questioned on thier tactics and inability to follow thru when questioned. also some decisions are also biased and unfair, altho Bonnies townhome is maintained beautifly, doesnt necessarily reflect the un biased nature in which the other residents are treated differently. take this review with a grain of salt, it is most likely an employee of the very same company running the place. my .02.

I am not an employee of the company. I only thought it necessary to give my comments. Visit the place and make that decision for yourselves. "Suspect" seems to be one who anonymously admits that this place is beautiful and well maintained but is oblivious to the fact that the Property Manager, Bonnie is the very one who is responsible for the functionality of Eland Downe. Don't be bothered by positive comments, this is something we all need more of toward each other. Trouble just seems to follow some people and they find consolation in trying to trouble others. One might construe that your comments are because you are an agitated tenant or employee of a competitor. Why attack me on making a positive review for a place and people who are well deservant. I own my opinion because it is mine from my experience of over 11 years here, find yours.

I was charged several hundred dollars for shampooing. It's true....the Air Conditioner did not cool the place but did make your bill go through the roof.
