Nice place to live but maintenance and manager are a little behind

I have lived here for just over a year. The old manager was fired which was a relief. She was more concerned with making friends with the residents she liked and making life miserable for the ones she didn't like then with getting maintenance on top of things that needed to be repaired.
Now I don't like to complain but I put in a repair request back in June of last year for someone to look at my cracked window. No one ever came. The manager blew off my phone calls and when I would come in she was always preoccupied with the telephone or with friends. I never receieved any appropriate attention.
Since management finally decided a change needed to be made I have been very happy here and my window finally was fixed, go figure. Maintenance is finally where they should be. The homes are very nice inside and it only takes a little effort to keep them that way.
