I have been living at Westridge for about a year and a half. Overall, I am happy with the outside appearance of the complex. However, inside our apartment we've had several problems. The pumbling is very slow. We've had a huge whole in the ceiling because the attic isn't sturdy. These are problems that are typical of living anywhere, I assume, and they were fixed after 2-3 visits by the maintenence staff (except the plumbing). However, the most significant problem we've had is the unprofessional management. The office manager has called yelling at me because our dog was barking. I realize that the barking could be a problem for the neighbors and I was receptive to her complaint, however she was extremely rude and yelled at me until I cried. I explained to her that I would fix the problem, and she continued to scream at me and hung up. There have been two other incidents in which she has acted the same. As a grown women paying close to $1,000 a month in rent I would expect respect and courtesy as a tenant. Just as I respectfully reported problems they're responsible for within the apartment, she should do the same in return. I don't think that anyone deserves to be treated so rudely. Currently, I do not feel comfortable here. I am looking for another place to live. I think that Westridge would be a fine place to live if it weren't for this lady. She is completely rude and unprofessional. Part of the overall quality of any apartment place includes not only the physical buildings, etc., but also providing a comfortable environment where tenants are treated with respect.
