I would not recommed this place

What caught my attention with Oakwood Manor was the month-to-month lease option. this was out-weighed by my experiences. Any time you call the "office" you are calling a second home line and would have to wait days to maybe get a call back.
The bad thing that Oakwood has going for it is the lay-out of the buildings and the apartments themselves. The appliances worked. I was lucky enough to have an air-conditioning unit in the kitchen and bedroom windows. The living room gets extremely dark, always needing a light on, due to the lay-out of the windows (or lack there of). The bathroom was extremely small, as was the kitchen. You have little to no counter space.
The couple who ran the buildings were extremely nice when I was moving in, but once I gave notice, there was a huge attitude change. My phone calls were never returned and they was also drama with returning of my keys. While I was there I never needed to contact maintaince.
The site itself was the scene of several, late-night domestic fights. I would defintely stay away from this place if you have children.
There was an attempt of security with each building needing a key to exit the lobby, but most of the time the door was proped open.
