My roommate and I chose this complex because we were looking to move out of our college dorm room quickly after graduation, we had little choice in the matter. The apartment was fine and maintenence always responded to our calls (broken microwave, garbage disposal, sparking outlets!!). Maintenance even came in the middle of the night once, but thank god they did since the outlet almost started a wall fire!Parking was hit or miss and sometimes you would have to park far away from your apartment, especially when it snowed. There are many families with children here, and for the most part the neighbors are friendly. Our electric bill was always very high, which I blame on the faulty wiring. I really like Phoenixville as a town, there is a good night life and plenty of shopping around.I liked the fact that we were allowed to have cats, but it is a shame that dogs are not allowed. I would never sign another lease here though, since the rent has gone up significantly and for these prices (950 a month PLUS electic and cable = close to 1200 a month!!) I could be renting on the main line! Traffic to major areas (King of Prussia, Paoli, Collegeville) is always backed up in the morning, making the Phoenixville a poor location to commute from.
After all is said and done this would be a fine place to live if it wasn't overpriced!!
