In spite of us being newlyweds, I was extremely picky as to where we would make our first home. I had already lived in Phoenixville for a few years prior and NEVER knew this place existed! After visiting several "recommended" apartment communities throughout the county, I fell in love with Westridge from the start. The area is VERY quiet and tranquil. The pool area is very cute, the community is SO comfortable to be around and the apartments are more spacious than others we saw. Ours is over 1,000 sq ft, giving us all the room we need for family and friends! Our neighbors, though rarely encountered, are very nice. There is plenty of parking for residents so unless someone is having visitors, I usually get to park right in front of my unit. I have enough closet space and the bathrooms are a good size. Management and Maintenance are courteous and will try to help you the best they can.

I originally wanted a second floor (because it comes with a fireplace, "computer corner" and pantry) but the very next day another couple came and took it! Needless to say, I am happy with my first floor. I do hear the water pumps whenever we or neighbors use the shower or flush the toilet but it doesn't bother me much. I haven't heard any noise from our neighbors left/right or above us.

There are a few things I do have issues with: there are some STRANGE looking bugs that crawl into the apartment, including the spiders mentioned by another person. I think it's because we're near water. The unit came with brand new appliances and I might be too picky on this but they did not match and they would not replace it (stove microwave dishwasher were black, refrigerator was white). Lastly, for a two bedroom apartment, we don't have a lot of hot water. I have long hair and always run out of hot water. I was told that our water pump is small and 15 minutes is the maximum time we'll get, and that taking showers back to back is not good. I wonder if we had a large family and all had to get ready and leave by a certain time, how that would work out'

So anyway, overall I am very pleased by this apartment. No place will be perfect and after seeing several others, this was one of the best! I think we'll be here for a while.
