The gas to all the stoves in the building got turned off close to two weeks ago. I have called several times to see when the stoves would be available again and everytime I'm given vague, uninformative responses. The lease promises a working stove in the apartment and when I asked for a partial reimbursement in the rent I was flatly told that no such thing would be considered and my only option would be to proceed with legal action. I was then told to live off of microwaved chicken. I understand appliances go down, however two weeks is a long time and the complete lack of response from Union Real Estate is extremely frustrating.
