I liked it, I worked in downtown and lived in Building 10 parked right inside the building.
The problems I had when the drains were backed up, the maintenance staff was there the same day and did it right. Another time I was stuck in the elevator Friday 11 p.m., the security guard answered pretty promptly, and within an hour they were able to get the elevator man out of the bar and get me out of there.
The neighborhood is a bit bummy, but not really dangerous. You can walk to the Giant Eagle, numerous bars and grills on East Ohio St., the library, West Park.
To me it was safe, convenient with a bus stop and jitney stand right outside the door, pleasant rooftop that tenants could use, helpful staff.

I am sure a decade ago when you lived here, that your comments were a reality, however; now, not so much. I would seriously advise people concidering Allegheny Center to think twice.
