First of my roomate and I are from a quite town 30 min from Pittsburgh. We wanted to move to the city. We found the ambassador apartments. We have been here a year and our lease is almost up. We CANT wait to get out of this hell hole. For startes please don't be fooled by the SHOW APARTMENT that they show you when you come to view. Your apartment will look NOTHING like what they show you. We thought that we would get an apartment with the view of Pittsburgh, NO they put us back here in the back where it is ghetto and nasty. Here you will find garbage in all the parking lots. The buildings stairwells and hallways smell like ----. You will also find everyones broke down cars sitting for months at a time. The staff here is very lazy and does not want to fix anything in our apartment. The marketing manager who was here not long ago was not proffesional at all. She was rude and she has a habit of being caught outside -----------------------all the time. They have a new guy who was just the pool boy this past summer and he is a perv! He liked to sit at the pool and sexual harras ---------------- and talk about there body parts. Well he is now the marketing manager. Wow how they promote the pool boy to the marketing manager. WOW GREAT PLACE. To move on, our apartment has needed its counters replaced and what do they do but come in and throw a thin coat of paint on them and now they look like ----. When we first moved in we had no problems it would nice and quite, now since people are moving out fast they are putting new tenants in who are just rude. We have to here people who live above us have sex every night. VERY LOUDLY they have sex everynight with there junky ass bed that is about to break. We are warnign you PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE. Also we live in a building with a bunch of doggs. The hall smells like dogg ---- all the time and is very embarrasing to our visitors. Just last month we have a tenant who just moved in send her little 3 year old girl to our apartment asking if we had a blender. What adult sends there little child to some persons apartment that they do not know. She must have been high because it always smells like weed here, and wanted a blender to mix drinks with! Just don't move here we are telling you. Once you sign that lease you are trapped because they will take you to court for there money. You will be living above wilkinsburg and blackridige. EXpect to here gun shots. THIS PLACE IS BAD. on a scale of 1-10 I would have to give this place a -10 yes I said it NEGATIVE 10.

I am pretty sure this review refers to a different building. The author says the building is located above wilkinsburg, but the building in question is in Oakland. Also, the critique of the management seems wrong... ---- was a great manager when I lived there. Also, the Ambassador on Centre Avenue does not have a pool. There is another building called the Ambassador on Penn Avenue and this reviewer probably meant to post there. So... readers, do not take this review into account if you are considering moving to Ambassador Apts on Centre Ave!

The reviewer definitely has the wrong apartment. It's great here (in Oakland, not Wilkinsburg)--and, there's no pool ;) There are no "city" views because of the hill--but there's a great view of the Cathedral of Learning, St Paul's Cathedral, and Carnegie Mellon.
