Great management, fantastic old building

We've recently renewed our lease after living here for one year, and we are very happy. The building manager and maintenance staff are very friendly and attentive. They've cheerfully and promptly accomodated all of my random requests (I had to beg at my old place, and then they'd take a week to come by). And the building is a well preserved 1920s former jazz hotel, chock full of interesting historic details for those of us who don't want to live in boring, sterile cookie-cutter condos. Our apartment has the original parquet floors, cool moldings and awesome glass doorknobs. The kitchen and bathroom have both been recently revamped, for the perfect balance of modern convenience and historic charm. It's one of the larger one-bedroom units (much bigger than any of our previous apartments), with 4 - count 'em - 4 roomy closets! One of them is actually a small room and is great for the kitties' toilets. That's another plus - the Morrowfield is cat friendly, which is increasingly rare in this market. Overall, this apartment is a great value in a great community!
