Many problems, great location

A single furnace is used for both hot water and heating. This really sucks in winter. Hot water runs out really quickly. A single person can have 1/2 a bath and the rest of the family have to wait for till the water heats up. Bottom-line you shouldnt have to choose between hot water and heating.
The cable service sucks: expensive, no cable broadband and the minimum analog cable package costs $46. The management lied to us when we moved in Jan 2004 that Comcast was going to be providing cable soon. Didnt happen until we moved out in Sep 2005.
The phone service has good and bad. Penn Telecom has some good phone plans but the lowest DSL service costs $50 (512K up and down). Compare that to $25 that you pay for a better service with Verizon.
If you want a shorter term lease(especially if you start looking to buy a house) then forget it. Its ridiculously expensive. For example we started on a 1 year lease at 791. After our lease expired the renewal for month to month was around 1050.
The apartments are in a great location if you commute to downtown for work. Some of the maintenance staff are really nice.
Overall, I would say its not worth it. If I had known these issues before we signed our lease we would have walked away
