My roommate and I lived at Bear Run from 04/04-1/08 (44 months)we paid our extra $20 a month pet fee for having 2 dogs and all the other deposits ($150non-refundable and $150 refundable. In addition, we paid a $500 deposit just to move in. In 44 months we paid a total of $1680 in deposits. When we moved out on 01/01/08, we cleaned that place better than any professional could have ever thought to have cleaned it, we professionally steamed cleaned the carpets, and even repainted the walls back to the original color. When we received our refund check in February of 2008, all we got back was $233 dollars. We were charged over $200 to replace the rug. Which by the way was destroyed by simple wear and tear by myself and my dogs. The carpet is the absolute cheapest money can buy and they don't tell you that they expect ALL carpets to have a 5 year life span, regardless if its a pet apartment. The parking is HORRIBLE!!!!!! Nobody is assigned a parking spot so if you had neighbors like myself that had 3 and 4 cars good luck finding a spot anywhere near where you live. In the winter maintence doesn't get off their lazy a@@ to salt and plow the roads until after approximately 9am. Guess what''''' Many of us are already off to work by then. OH and don't get me started on that pitiful excuse for a security gate. Just for fun my roommate and I would enter a different 4 digit code each night to see if the gates would open and they did. Moral of the story DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
