Okay, these newbies at Bear Run just haven't been here long enough to feel the pain.

I've lived at Bear Run for 2 1/2 years, and the first year they raised our rent over $100 month! Then, on top of paying a decent sized rent for a townhouse, we share parking with the apartments across the drive, and if you get home after 6pm there is no where for us to park - except up the hill on the other side. It is not very convenient. The pool is only open until 8pm, so you better get there early.

The maintenence fixes things half-ass, although they are nice and don't bug you about anything here. I just wish that for the higher-rent townhouses we would at least have 2 designated spaces per townhouse.

Our townhouse has already had a leaky roof, a/c breaks every spring/summer, and just last week, some animal left other large animal parts on my patio! Gross! I did call and leave a message that I wanted it cleaned up, whatever it was - and they did clean it before I came home that day.

I think you could find other places in the area that are just as nice and save some money and headaches. It's okay to live here, but not as wonderful as everyone says that hasn't spent much time here.
