This place puts the it in ----. Parking is a pain, they never salt the parking lot and you have to drive up a steep hill just to get to the apartment. That is not a good thing when you live in the snow belt of Pennsylvania. Moving carts are never to be found because the old people keep them in their apartment. Weight room is dirty and pathetic. Washing machines don't even wash properly, clothes are still wet coming outta the dryer. Cabinets are wobbly, sinks back up constantly, knobs fall off of closets, and even the air conditioning/heat is distributed poorly. My bedroom was always cold while the rest of the apartment was blazing hot. Saftey is also an issue, cars have been broken into during the summer months and the door that is SUPPOSE to be entry by key is always broke so any jerk can walk in. You can hear everything in the hall way. The hallways also smell really bad as does the weight room. Overall it's just a big pile of crap sitting on a hill. I would stay at this place as a last resort. It's not even close to nice but they jack up the price every couple of months. Stay away.

I have lived here for more than a decade. I have had few problem with either the apartment or the management company. Yes, you must drive up a steep hill to get to the apartment....surely you noticed this before you signed a lease and considered the ramifications for winter. I have a basic front wheel drive vehicle and have always been able to get up the hill. On snowy days, I have often seen the snow plow / salt truck coming up the hill to service the hill and parking lot. The moving carts are an issue, sometimes available, sometimes not. I assume that since you indicate "old people" are hoarding them, you know who the perpetrators are and could notify the management company. The weight room is not state of the art; however, they do have a limited weight machine and two Landice treadmills that are highly rated by Consumer Reports. Gym memberships at outside facilities are always an option should you need better equipment. Any apartments that I've checked with better weight equipment are also pricier than this building. My clothes have never come out of a dryer wet and my sink hasn't backed up. I do agree that sometimes the heat distributes unevenly. They have only jacked the price up on me slightly annually at time of lease renewal. Any time I have had a complaint, they have responded in a reasonable amount of time, immediately to within 48 hours depending on urgency. The location is convenient to the parkway.

everything said here is true. my boyfriend and i currently live here and we are looking for a new place because the rent goes up at least 20 bucks each year. parking is absolutely terrible. it might as well be a retirement home with the amount of old people and nurses. too expensive for what you get.
