There was a big fire in a highrise apartment in this residential complex when I lived there. Two entire floors were completely burnt down. A friend of mine who happened to live on one of those two floors lost all belongings in the process. The city of Scott Township had to fine the carriage park management for negligence and for not installing proper fire detection systems.

The management is rude. At times very rude. I say this particularly as I do not have a pleasant experience dealing with the management. The rental management and maintenance people are not polite to people of international origin as I had a couple of friends who were immigrants from outside the US who were not happy with the treatment they got from the management when they lived here

From what I know, this apartment complex was built 30 years ago. As a result the one bedroon apartments do not have dishwashers. I lived in a studio apartment underground. There was a lot of noise from the house just above where I lived.

Some apartments in this housing complex can be a pain to maintain in a clean state. I would recommend renting an apartment in Greenbriar village over carriage park.
