stock up on air freshners

Honestly when I moved in I thought this was a great place to live. Close to work, close to shopping, rent was reasonable, and a low wage tax. I never had a problem with roaches, maintenance, or management. I never saw a roach, maintenance always fixed everything, and the staff was always helpful to me! In fact I was very happy with my desicion to move here. I soon lost that feeling when I woke up out of a deep sleep to the most horrific aroma and smell. You know, I can only speak for my building...but I could smell everything my neighbors cooked. I'm sure you're thinking..well what's wrong with that''' well that might be okay if your neighbor was cooking an apple pie. Not only could I smell what my neighbors cooked, but the odor would linger in my apartment for hours. I spent many days trying to find the perfect air freshner and candle. But I soon discovered that potpourri and strong cooking spices did not mix.I don't want to deter anyone from moving here, and truly this was my only complaint... Okay...wait I have another complaint. The kids play in the parking lot in the summer. What's up with that''' I've almost hit several kids (and their parents) with my car. But I guess it's not their fault since management locks the basketball and tennis courts. Come on...what's the point of having a tennis court when you can't use it. Okay...I take back what I said about management. I question some of their choices. Please build the kids a playground before one of them gets hit by a car!!!Back to my original complaint...the place SMELLS! If you have a weak stomach or sensitive nose...this is not the place for you!

| I do agree that recreation facilities that are not accessible aren't much of a feature. For that reason the locks were taken off the tennis and basketball courts last fall. And I'm happy to say I have seen both in use nearly daily since. I am the first to say that I would LOVE to see an area for the children to play. Why one wasn't built when the community was built I do not know, but I can assure you that I agree a playground would be a great asset to the community. I just wish it was simple as wanting one to get one. This is has been a regular topic of discussion among the staff. While I can't promise we will be getting one, I can promise we're seriously looking into it. | |
