Hello all, Im am in the process of filing a class action lawsuit against Carriage park apartments and Dryfuss management for shady business practices.
If you feel they have been scamming you for your gas bills or believe you are affected please contact me at kustomplay@yahoo.com. We can set up a meeting time and go from there. If you are interested I will be waiting to file for the court date come Sept 1st to get as many people as I can. The management here are horrible and in addition to the class action suit, I also will be sending a letter to the better business bureau about their practices.
I know some of you are upset about the gas bills and I will be planning on addressing that in the suit also. At the moment I am working with some News stations to come out and investigate how they do business here. The more people we get the better chance we have to win.
Once again, email address is kustomplay@yahoo.com (please put CAL in the subject when emailing me.)
Thanks!

Residents gas bills are based on each individual residents usage. All units are submetered and each meter is read monthly. As stated several times, gas prices nationwide are out of control and that is not the doing of Carriage Park or the management.
We do not "make" anyone do anything. At this time Carriage Park does not offer short term leases, but we do not force anyone to sign anything.

if you want to stay here your forced to sign a 1 year lease. I have a friend who lives right up the road and pays less in gas then i do and its a house. Where is the gas meter? I want to see what it looks like. Also whens the last time it was check to make sure it was working right? Please let me know where the gas meters are located. Also who supplies the gas to this place? and if your paying half the gas bill already like you said then why is it still so high. Something is not right here.

You are correct. If someone would like to move into Carriage Park they are required to sign a twelve month lease. There is nothing at all questionable about that. If someone prefers a shorter term lease there are other communities that will offer that for a large premium I'm sure. If at anytime you would like your gas meter checked I suggest you contact the office. Your questions and concerns are best addressed there than on a website.
