I've been living in Carriage Park for the last 5 years. I'm was satisfied with how the staff attended to my maintenance issues, though they were not so courteous until last year. I met the Manager today, and I had a VERY VERY BAD experience. She did not even offer me a seat. She was VERY HARSH and had absolutely NO COURTESY, NO PROFESSIONALISM.( not sure if she was like that because I'm a non-white). I want to file a complaint against her but not sure where to file. If you can help me in this regard.

Manager's Response

From: Manager Date: 06/23/2006
I regret that some find me to be rude or unprofessional when I am simply unable to bend rules for them. The lease agreement and the community rules and regulations are put in place so that we all have an understanding as to what is expected of each party. Yet on nearly a daily basis I am asked to change the payment policy, the vacate notice policy, renewal policy, etc. I have been called inhuman and without compassion more than once because I cannot change policy to accommodate each individual residents circumstances. I am certainly aware that some situations are beyond a resident???s control, however, that should not and does not require the owners of an apartment community to accept a loss. It would be even more unreasonable and in violation of fair housing laws to change policies based upon each resident's circumstances. Frankly I can???t think of anything more unfair than that.

If you or any resident is interested in filing a complaint against me with my supervisor, you simply need to contact the leasing office and you will be given that information.

You can file a complaint with the Attorney General's office. I know I am going to do that for my reasons. Here's the attorney general's web site:

Why we again come to you to get the information regarding filing a complaint against you. You are one of the worst manager or the person I met in USA. You are not fit for this job.
