I am currently a resident and plan on moving out as soon as my lease is up. there's a roach infestation as well numerous other bug problems...bugs i have never seen before in the 43 years of my life. when i asked them to have exterminator come to kill the rodents, I was propositioned for sexual desire. she stated how bad she wanted me. i would definately not recommend living at this establishment because of the rodent infestation and expensive increase in rent and am moving out soon.

Manager's Response

I have to disagree that there is an infestation of bugs or rodents or anything else for that matter. We have an intensive preventative maintenance program to prevent pest control issues and do offer additional weekly service at residents request. It is better to be proactive than reactive on these matters.

In the eighteen months I have worked at Carriage Park there has never been a female pest control technican. I have also never received a complaint of any employee or contractor "propositioning" residents. Had this event actually occurred I would have surely heard from you.

Regardless of what the Manager says, most of the units with the ancient style windows are at a much greater risk for bugs getting in simply due to the fact that the insulation on them is embarassing and there are multiple points in every window installation where bugs can easily get in. An infestation? No. Just a much greater risk and something that the management should be ashamed to allow to happen. Having spoken with people that have the newer windows, this is not so much of a problem for them.

I got bugs in my apartment too and they did a treatment... but no use as of now.. Its pathetic I am not sure what to do ... is there anyone ese facing the same thing?? lemme know I am in one of the high-rise and bugs pretty much spread very fast in apartment buildings. I know another person in my building who had the same problem in his apartment
