We have just moved in this apt community. Haven't had any experience yet about the winter gas bills, which is the main complaint of the tenants. But I can already see that people in the leasing office are very rude. They do not even greet, specially the manager, when greeted. What can you say about them!!
We have been handed over the keys of an apt. that is not properly cleaned. I can already see that all the equipments are very very old. The refrigerator in my kitchen makes a noise too loud to be bearable. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms are same. The cooking range in the kitchen is too old and dirty. I have filed a correction notice recently and lets see what happens...
The management made quite a few promises before we moved in, that they are not ready to fulfill. They are of the opinion that we should have gotten it written even before we signed the lease. This is so absurd!! First of all they wouldn't give us anything in writing before we moved in, they would say outright that they do not have permission to give anything in writing. Secondly, service selling wouldn't work if the client has to get every promise of the sales person in writing.
Anyways, lets spend some more time and I will come back with more comments...

| I am sorry that you find the office staff rude. We always attempt to be as friendly and helpful as we can. If we have failed to live up to that I hope you will contact me so we might discuss any specific complaints you have. All apartments and townhomes are professionally painted and cleaned, the carpets are either cleaned or replaced and maintenance spends at least a day checking all of the mechanics before someone moves into one of our homes. We do our best, but that is not to say we don't sometimes miss something. That is why a Correction List is given to each resident at their lease signing. When a correction list is received we make it the highest priority. Having said all this, we do not replace things simply because they are not new. If the equipment, fixtures and appliances are functioning properly and in good appearance there is really no justification for replacement. If you would like your home re-inspected to address your concerns I would more than happy to do that. The management of Carriage Park makes no promises that are not included in the lease agreement, community rules and regulations or any other addendums. Just as we expect nothing more from our residents that what is contained in those documents. I would also like to discuss this with you. I encourage anyone, resident or prospective resident, to address issues with the management of Carriage Park. More can be accomplished using that avenue than annonymous postings on a website. I do hope you are enjoying your living experience more today than when this was written and I encourage you to contact me and discuss your concerns. | |
