It is standard practice to inform residents, in writing, whenever work is to be performed in their unit by a contractor. The purpose of this notification is to comply with the lease agreement and to give a resident time to make any preperations that might be necessary. I am not sure why you did not receive your copy of the letter, but I do regret the inconvenience it seems to have caused.
I would like to apologize if you felt a contractor or vendor was rude to you. That is not something that I consider appropriate or acceptable. I am very familiar with the contractor you are referring to and find this out of his character, but I will talk to him.
If you ever feel you have not been treated in a fair courteous and professional manager I hope you will contact me directly.
