The gym equipment at Carriage Park has had maintenance issues and we get the machines repaired as quickly as possible. We are exploring options to upgrade the gym equipment as it gets more use than was anticipated.
The pool is closed every Monday and in cases of inclement weather and we have had LOTS of inclement weather. The Health Inspector makes regular inspections of the pool to insure that the pool is in compliance with all regulations. We welcome the visits. All of this is in place for the residents’ protection.
I am happy to hear that your pest control issues were addressed and I hope you will not hesitate to contact us if you should have any further problems. I would also like to thank you for the positive comments you made regarding the community and your neighbors.
Being an educated person I’m sure you know that you should read and understand any documents you are being asked to sign. I agree that the lease agreement and its addendums are lengthy, but residents and cosigners are encouraged to read and ask questions when signing. In most cases people who are moving are in a hurry and fail to take the time to go over these important documents.
The lease is VERY clear on the rental payment policy and the gas billing and because you failed to pay within those guidelines you were sent a past due rent letter and charged a late fee. The late letter also warns of additional fees if the rent remains unpaid after the deadline. The lease and the late letter also state no personal checks will be accepted after the fifth of the month. Even after you came into the office to argue twice and called to argue more the answers you received from three different associates, including myself, were consistent. Only payment in full can be accepted and no checks are accepted after the fifth.
When people don’t follow the rules and think the consequences should not apply to them you risk being called uneducated and unprofessional. When people don’t get special treatment you risk being called rude. These are risks I’m willing to take in order to treat all of our residents equally and comply with fair housing laws. I am proud of my chosen profession and the service we provide to the residents and owners of Carriage Park. If you find managing a multimillion dollar real estate investment a demeaning career path or beneath you that says more about you than me. But I will wish you the best in whatever field you choose.
I respond to all comments, regardless of their merit, because both sides have a right to be heard. I hope to make all our Carriage Park’s residents happy with their decision to call our community home. But that does not mean bending or breaking the rules for residents who scream the loudest or make obscene gestures to the staff.

I've had a similar experience with the office workers. I had to go in with some questions and they treated me like I was an idiot. They weren't able to answer my questions and failed to admit they were things I should have been made aware of upfront. Its a very unprofessional group.
