i too have concerns abt the flyers and dreyfuss' policy regarding no. of persons in single/double bedroom. recently the flyers visited the high raised buildings and noted the no.of persons in a house. That is as per rule only 2 ppl can be in a single bedroom and if u have a kid(even a small infant) u should shift to a double bedroom. I too agree with this policy as I heard it is a rule in carnieghy or allegheny. But the flyers treat the residents partially....that is only some ppl have got the notice from the management to vacate the single bedroom and occupy 2BR as they all have one kid. I knw many ppl who live in single bedroom house for long time with 1-4 yrs kid. But i dont know why they were not given the notice to occupy 2BR '!!! very strange.

Any time we realize that an apartment is over occupied the occupants are given the option to transfer to a larger apartment home. There is no distinction between an adult occupant and a child occupant. Each is considered an individual and the occupancy standards are based upon no more than two individuals per bedroom. A single parent and child may share a bedroom, two adults may share a bedroom but if there is a third occupant a second bedroom is required. The occupancy guidelines are in every information package Carriage Park associates give to prospective residents and it is posted on the desk of every leasing associate. Each resident signs a lease listing all occupants and more often than not the problem arises because applicants did not disclose all who planned on living in the apartment. I can assure you we never ignore these situations. If you know people who are currently over occupied that we have not yet discovered please feel free to let me know as those people are in violation of the lease agreement and it is not fair to those who do follow the community standards.

This rule is really ridiculous. Why small infants will be counted as adult? This is too much... Even though the county sets that rule why so what is the reason behind that. It is only understanding between county and and all these real estate companies so that they can push the ppl with kids into bigger apartments so that both will get money... So what is the valid reason to consider infants and kids as adult. They security and --------. What is the kid is secured if he sleeps in separate bed room? If any fire comes the parents has to run to other room and has to bring is it? what is the difference if they stay in same bed room and other bed room....Really ridiculous. Just it is understanding between companies and counties to make money...and also some apartments in the same county say upto 3 years for kids it is ok. what is this then? Are they violating the rule or what?
