I stayed for 2yrs in the apts. I had to move because of bed bugs and trash my sofa, beds. Treatment was done thrice but of no use. Most of the aprts have bed bugs or Rats. My friends moved out because of rats digging their house. Check the history of aprt before you join. You will find none without bed bugs or rats or cockroaches.

Bedbugs have become a problem nationally and Carriage Park has had to treat some units that became infected. The solution is a minimum of three weekly treatments by a professional exterminator. Each case found has been taken care of. Bedbugs were brought into the apartments. Everyone would be wise to do some research on the subject to protect themselves whether living in Carriage Park, Pittsburgh or anywhere. In my nearly four years at Carriage Park there have been no rats. If most of the units at Carriage Park had rats, bedbugs or roaches I am sure we would not continue to be 99% occupied.

I have heard from so many people living in Carriage park aparments, complaining about Bed Bugs. 400 and 600 high raise buildings are highly effected. Carriage park do three weeks of treatment. But that treatment is like putting deodrant without taking complete shower. They just come and spray something in the corners and leave the apartment. the process will not even take just 1 min. Even after taking 4 weeks of treatment, still there is not difference, lot of bed bugs. Bed Bugs cause high allergy to the skin. Even after showing the skin rashes to carriage park apartment, the management is not changing my aparment. I have to leave another 6 months like this. If it causes more health problems, they wil surely SUE the carriage park.

I completely agree to the statement that hirise buildings are full of bed bugs. I'm not sure why we were given such an apartment when the treatment was not done prior to leasing it to us. It was just 4 months that we stayed cool when the bed bugs started showing up. We immediately brought it to the notice at rental office and they started off with the 3 week treatment. After 3 weeks it was said that the treatment is complete. Even after that we have seen bed bugs..lots n lots of them. We have always taken care of the precautionary stuff and washed and packed our clothes every week but still bed bugs have showed up. When talked at the rental office they have put an additional fine of $423 for the treatment for which we are not a reason. I'm not getting one thing here..Is the carriage park management sucking our blood or is it the bed bugs?
