This is definitely the worst place it has been my experience to inhabit. We took what was supposedly one of their wonderful "special deals." If it has not been that we had trouble finding a place that would take my dog, we would probably have looked elsewhere. We had an antique dishwasher, which occasionally leaked, and a washer and dryer provided by the complex, which regularly leaked and NEVER dried the clothes on the first cycle, respectively. It was always a pleasure to have to try to remember to always have to straddle the puddle on the floor in front of the washing machine while trying to remove the clothes to transfer them to the dryer. We also had a loose fan cover in the bathroom and a bubble in the bathroom linoleum. We called maintenance to look at all these problems...to fix the linoleum, they cut a slit in it to try to make it lay flatter, which it never did; they ran the washer, but since it didn't happen to leak in that cycle, there was nothing wrong with it, and that was that; and the screw holding up the fan cover was stripped, and there was nothing they could do to fix that. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT'' There was also no railing outside our apartment on the stairs going down to our apartment until just before we moved out. A lot of good it does anyone then.

And yes....THE BUGS!! Thankfully, we had a cat, who alerted us to the critters when they came into the apartment. Yes, we lived on the first floor and were partly underground, but I wouldn't think there should be so many visitors coming around.

And I have never seen office or maintenance staff turn over so frequently!! Every time either my husband or I called the office about something, there was always someone new there. The girl who rented us our apartment wasn't even there 2 months after we moved in. There something definitely wrong when even the staff won't stick around. My husband talked to a few of the maintenance guys from time to time, when we left, there were only 2 of them taking care of the entire complex of 30 or so buildings....definitely not enough workers.

And the office staff was definitely never any help. Nobody ever knew what was going on and nobody could ever help you. And I really think they should do background checks on ALL of their office employees before hiring them....I don't think that was done.

I wouldn't recommend this place to someone I didn't like...and apparently neither would anyone else, when we left, more than half of the apartments were empty and nobody remained in our section of our building.
