I would like to personally thank the Front management team( Cheryl,Stacie, and Kim) as well as their maintenance staff(Wayne and Armando) for creating a incredible moving experience.
I recently moved from Charlotte, NC, :( yeah, I know. As tough as it was to leave, I never thought I would settle as quickly as I did. Due to the amazing nature of Chestnut Ridges' staff, I am now happily calling it home. Their dependability, reliability, and great attitudes make renting a Chestnut Ridge apartment a very easy decision. You can not put a price on customer satisfaction.
Lastly I would like to comment that, though the facility is older than others, Chestnut Ridge has made up for it with reliability, and a one of a kind maintenance crew. I have never experienced such promptness and courtesy when receiving repairs.
You rarely find a community with as many intabgibles as Chestnut Ridge Apartments. If you want to enjoy your experience in Pittsburgh, I 100% recommend Chestnut Ridge Apartments to you!

I have to say the move in was very easy and the fees they didn't tell you about that hit your first bill are tolerable now that you are locked into the lease. Summer is okay. Let me know what you think in the dead of winter (sorry this isn't NC)and the heating bills are sky high because there isn't any insulation and you are freezing. Oh, and when you try to dry your clothes and it takes 2 or 3 dryer cycles because the piping is too small (ask Kim, she'll tell you it isn't to code) you might want to try an inside vent kit. The humidity is heck but it might remind you of NC and help with the heat in the winter. The only positive things I have to say about CR are location, location, location, and they are pet friendly.

Heating bills are high everywhere in the Northeast. As for the maintenance staff, they are number 1. JJ, Derrick, Armando & Wayne are truly a concerned and efficient staff. The office staff is friendly and professional.Chestnut Ridge has recently improved the property by installing new siding and roofing and new concrete deck at the pool and continues to upgrade the rental experience in Pittsburgh. There are properties that do not do anything.

The heating bills are not bad at all! I just moved here from North Carolina and I paid more there than I have here.
